Sina Basila Hickey is a community- engaged artist and organizer who uses visual arts, discussion platforms, storytelling, and education as tools for social critique and activism. She is based in Brooklyn-- the ancestral and unceded land of the Lenape.
Sina is the project director of Papergirl-Brooklyn and the cofounder of Seeing Collective. Her background is in documentary storytelling, pedagogy, and grassroots organizing.
Sina works as a freelance photographer, filmmaker, and educator.
